tool to help you better manage your financial assets. It allows you to
create accounts from which to pay different bills. This is a unique way to
help allocate your income so that your weekly, monthly, and yearly expenses
are taken care of.

Boxplot 2.0 [BOXPLOT2] (Rick Carlson, reg. fee: $25) calculates the
frequency response and maximum sound pressure level for any sealed or
vented loudspeaker enclosure. Passive crossover and attenuator design is

database and valuation program for Windows.

House Mouse 2.0 [HMV2W] (Kestrel Computing Company, Inc., reg. fee: $20) is
an amortization program for Windows. Features include immediate
re-calculation of monthly payments, graphing of interest and principal
based on payment/loan life, determination of borrower's required gross

Kidata 2.1 [KIDATA] (Kansas Images, reg. fee: $20) is a complete data
control system for your family. It allows you to create a complete history
for each family member including current physical descriptions, digitized
photos, a list of emergency contacts, medical information, and much more.

combination diary and multi-media scrapbook for Windows 3.1. An unlimited
number of diaries can be created, each with its own password. Letters can

Newsreader 3.01 [NEWS3A, NEWS3B] (Paul Kaliciak, reg. fee: $15) reads and
parses Newsbytes computer news files. It allows users to see up to four
days' stories at a time. You can export a story as text, copy it to the
clipboard, print it, or archive it to the Newsreader database. Other
features include filtering options that only let you see stories that

PageMate for Windows 1.0 [PAGE10] (Robert J. Matter, reg. fee: $35)
monitors your telephone line for an incoming ring and then dials your pager
(or other number) after a specific delay. Your phone number or the time a
call was received or a call counter can be transmitted to your pager.
Incoming and outgoing calls are logged to a text file for later
examination. Support is provided for COM1 through COM4. Requires a
Hayes-compatible modem and VBRUN300.

EZ-EIS 1.4 [EZ_EIS14] (Sierra Software, reg. fee: $15) is a tool for
keeping, analyzing, and displaying key indicator information. Once postings
have been completed, combinations of periods of time for selected items and

designed to replace the magnetic in and out tracking boards. It uses
color-coded locations to allow any network user to see where other users

mail-merge group fax hundreds of personalized faxes with Word for Windows

Network Chat 1.04 [NCHAT] (Ivory Tower Software, reg. fee: $40/LAN) is an
add-in product for Ivory Tower Software's popular freeware product, Network
Email. It provides a real-time text "chat" mode for your LAN friends and

PagePlus Intro 1.22.00b [PPINTRO1, PPINTRO2] (Serif, Inc., reg. fee:
$0-$60) is a full-featured desktop publishing package for Windows 3.1. This
functional demo provides many of the powerful features of high priced
retail products such as PageMaker and Ventura Publisher. It allows you to
perform almost any short-document layout task you can imagine, and
registration if FREE for personal use!
    We were impressed by the ease at which text can be imported into columns.
Getting text to wrap around graphics requires a couple of simple mouse
clicks. You could easily produce an impressive newsletter or advertising
flyer complete with graphics in a matter of minutes.
    Other features include TrueType font support, printing from any
Windows-compatible printer, powerful graphics creation tools, a sample
library of graphics and borders, and much, much more. If you have ever
considered buying a DTP program, you should definately give this a try
first. Requires EGA/VGA a minimum of 2MB RAM, and 4MB free disk space.

QuikGraf 1.0 [Q_GRAF1] (Peninsula Software, reg. fee: $40) lets you
visualize numerical data as a variety of graphs. Styles include 2D/3D
bar/pie, line, scatter, polar, hi-low-close, area and Gantt charts. Graphs
can be saved as a data file, printed, or exported to other Windows
applications as a bitmap image or meta-file.

Resident Information 2.1.1a [RESINFO1, RESINFO2, RESINFO3, RESINFO4]

Residential Superintendents, and others keep track of apartment resident
information. All information is written to dBase IV database tables and

up to 50 clocks with the current time of cities around the world. Clock
faces can be displayed as analog, digital, or with a user-created bitmap.

KwikEdit 2.0 [KWIKED2] (Kurt P. Herzog, reg. fee: $5) provides a small
window with nine programmable buttons which will launch any file into it's
associated editor or a default editor of your choice. It can also launch
executable files. The display can be configured as a bar, a square, or a
tower. This is great for keeping frequently edited files at your fingertips.

MiniCalc3 [MINCALC] (Terry Fergusson, reg. fee: $10) is a remarkable little
desktop calculator. It displays a small title bar, and all you do is enter
your problem from the numeric keypad on your keyboard. This is a no-frills
calculator for simple math tasks, but is small enough to stay on top of
other applications without getting in the way.

Moon Calendar [MOONCAL] (Jim Corriveau, reg. fee: $25) is a combination
calendar/PIM with moon phase display, daily diary, and more.

The Notebook Program [NOTEBK] (H. D. Baecker, reg. fee: $35) allows you to
track free-form notes. Notes are automatically dated, can have up to a
40-character title, and can be up to 32,000 characters long.

Quick Note for Windows 2.0 [QWKN20] (David Hay Shareware, reg. fee: $10) is
a notepad/to-do list that is intended to replace all those sticky notes on
your desk. Notes can be organized into lists in a tree structure, and are
easily moved up or down in the list. It can be set to stay on top of other
apps and can be used as an editable clipboard when moving text between

students to graph equations quickly and simply from menus and dialog boxes.
It handles polynomials, trig functions, logs, exponentials, conics, and
also allows typing in equations. It also gives derivatives and
antiderivatives, draws tangent lines and handles rotations and translation

Ed Clock [EDCLOCK] (Kulai Software, reg. fee: $0) helps teach children to
read an analog clock. It presents three clocks and asks the child in a
digitized voice to click on the one showing a particular time. Difficulty
can be set on the hour, half hour, or five minute intervals. A sound card

Sterling) lets you translate a flat, two-dimensional map into a full
three-dimensional representation which can be examined from any viewpoint.
Data may be imported from text or USGS DEM files, but the system is
particularly designed to extract information from scanned images. Several

LifeByDesign Series 1 [LIFEDS1] (MB Scientific, reg. fee: $20) provides the
settings for designing artificial life forms and their implementation in
software. This version covers an eco system consisting of species of single
celled "cyber-bugs" that exist within a plant life/herbivore - carnivore
food chain. Player involvement can vary from customizing genetic variables
(top speed, aging and birthing parameters, etc.), to authoring custom
genetic code.

Multiplication Drill 2.01 [MD] (NoVB Software, reg. fee: $15) helps teach
7-10 year olds their multipliation tables by a rote drill method. Problems
are flashed on the screen and you can use the keyboard or the mouse to
enter your answer. Humorous digitized voices and sound effects provide both
positive and negative reinforcement.
     Each correct answer reveals a slice of a BMP graphic, and after 100
correct answers the picture is revealed. Sound and graphic files can be
user-defined to further customize the program. This is a well-done progam
with many nice options. <MDRILL.PCX>

TestMaker [TESTMAKE] (Terry Wilkins, reg. fee: $20) allows you to create
and take a multiple-choice test. You simply type in questions and answers,
and the program generates a Windows-based test that automatically
calculates the score.
